So I could start this blog entry just like all of the others, excuse after excuse after excuse. But I won't, nope, I won't. Instead, I'm going to fess up to feeling like I have more important things to do. Not to trash those of you how actually do keep up with these things *cough* Jess, rather, just to admit that I am just not THAT organized with

my time. So yeah, bear with me in my time of chaos. So in the last 2 years that I have attempted but failed to blog... I had a BABY!! Her name is Chole, she is perfect and she is mine.. all mine! I could take the time to write about her but what is the point when my sister has already so beautifully done it for me, you can read all about it right here.

So I'm just going to start out fresh by starting with today's events. Here is what the kids and I did while the babes was asleep. It's called Oobleck. 2 cups cornstarch 1 cup water.... enjoy:)

So things have actually been going really well in the Casa de Brown lately!

David got the job at the National Guard that we were shooting for! He is gone a lot but actually making a descent income. He is so excited to have a job that he actually enjoys! I think he is most excited about the corner office they gave him, makes him feel special! Haha! I have yet to take any pictures of it so those are still to come. Other than that, he spends his spare time trying to get this house done to sell so we can move YAY!! What a hard worker and awesome Daddy and husband he is, I think I'll keep him! ;)

Josalynn,

Well, she is all drama. She loves to talk and talk and talk! She is so excited to turn 3 this coming April. We are going to get her sized for a violin on Monday because she will be starting the Suzuki method right when she turns 3. I hope I can be everything she needs to enjoy it. She loves music and loves to dance! She is so sweet and loves to cuddle and rub my head and back. I am so spoiled with her!

Daniel,

What a good little boy he is. He has his moments but for the most part he is so chill and relaxed about almost everything! He will be turning 2 in May. We tried the whole potty training thing but I guess he is just not ready yet. Oh well! He loves to play outside and just be a rough, messy little boy!

As for me, I'm busy. I have been teaching a boot camp at the Y along with my aerobics class. I love it and it keeps me moving! I'm also taking 6 credit hours at OTC right now. I'm keeping good grades but getting kinda tired of school already. I'm pretty excited for summer break. David will be gone for the whole summer because of his Military training :(. So I'm planning on heading to FL to spend some good quality sister time with Jess! I've been called as the Personal Progress leader in our YW program in the Ava ward. I love the girls, and I really enjoy my calling. Other than that, life is just peachy.

So like I've said several times in the past! I am a horrible blogger! To tell you the truth, I really didn't feel so bad about it until my sister Jessica made some very valid points as to why I should blog more. So Jess, here I am blogging instead of homeworking!

Ok well Lets see Christmas was wonderful! We all got to celebrate with my sister and her cute family. I was able to meet my new niece Arabella in the NICU. I wish I could have spent more time with her! Such a beautiful little angel! Josy and Daniel got to play with their cousins which was so awesome to see. Christmas day we went to Hollywood beach and played in the water. I'm so jealous of my sister being so close to the beach!

I loved being there with my family and being able to spend time with my sister. She is such a great girl and so strong! I definitely admire her for being such a wonderful mommy!

David, Rich, and my brother Rudy seemed like they didn't even miss a step being together! They spent their time gaming, watching movies, climbing palm trees for coconuts, and watching the kids when we could stop them! Boys will be boys! Haha!

Probably one of the best Holidays spent with family eating posole and alligator!

So we started the project not to long ago and we are so close to being finished I can taste it! haha! I am so happy with how this floor has turned out, also it has made our house WAY more beautiful! Here is our progress.

So as usual life is and has always been just a little bit hectic! David is in the middle of working on a small addition to the house. We extended the living room and are about to put the wood flooring down. One heck of a job with 2 kids!
School has picked up, to say the least! I swear I have a test every week!
David is working on getting a full time job at the armoury which means WAY better pay, and better hours! Anywho, here are some pictures of the addition under construction and a video of my silly kids!

Major Update

So yeah it has been a while. I'll admit, I do feel a little bit bad. I've been busy busy busy so that is my excuse! hahaha!
So I'll just start from where I can remember. Josy turned 2 in April and is talking a ton! I can have a full on conversation with this girl, just ask my sister Jessica. Also, as of recently she is 100% potty trained! She is so proud and loves her Dora panties. I am just happy we only have to buy one set of diapers now!! YAY!

David commissioned as an officer back in May! He is now a second Lieutenant in the National Guard! I'm so proud him! Lately he has been running all over the place working on the house, working, fixing cars, and getting set up for school! Yup, that's right more school! He is working on getting accepted into the PA program at MSU now, so we still have about 3 more years of school!

Daniel has been walking for about 4 months now! In fact he runs everywhere! He has been saying a few words like Mama, Daddy, Pappa, Tantu (thank you), and his own nicknames for other members of the family. He is such a stud and such a wonderful baby. He loves to eat veggies and sleep... what more could I ask for? Also, he just turned 1 in May.

Last but not least, me! I just got enrolled in school again. I will be going to OTC working on finishing my Associate degree in education. Yup, I want to be a Spanish teacher. We will see how that goes! I've finally met my wieght goal and lost 14 lbs! My new goal is to loose another 10 lbs and I will be where I was in High School! Other than that, life has been absolutly amazing and fun!

Life Lately

So it's been a few weeks since I was last on here. I feel bad because the main reason I do this blog is for my sister who is out in Florida. I have been a horrible blogger and I apologize for it. So I'm gunna keep the words short and get to the videos and the pics because that is all anybody really want to see. Danny is now 6 months old and has been scooting around for about 2 weeks, he just started getting up on his knees so hopefully we will be seeing him crawl soon. Aside from that he is just as studly as ever! It took a little while for him to get moving so the first part of the video is just him looking up at me.

Now as for Josalynn. She has got to be THE nuttiest, smartest little girl in the world. She is now 18 months and has started to talk more and more each day. Her words for now are: NO, Mommy, Daddy, Nanny, Danny, WOW, Whoa, Meggy, Pappa, and of course tons of giberish. She is very good at getting into things she should not be getting into. The other night she decided to grab a box of cerel while I was cleaning the kitchen. Well I guess she got tired of picking out the crunch berries so she dumped the whole box out on the floor. I came in to check on her and found one heck of a surprise! I love this girl!

Halloween weekend!

This past weekend David had to go to a camp out for the Army and left me and the kids alone for Halloween. So I packed our bags and the kids and I were off for a weekend in Branson.
I took Josy to the trunk or treat with her cousins and she had a blast getting and eating all of the candy that she could! Josy was an elepahnt, Julian a skeleton, Damian a bee, and Gabriel a ghost.

The next day I took Josy and Gabriel to the Dutton Christmas show and they both went up on stage where none of the Duttons recognized Josy...... so much for family! Josy was so sweet and shared her tootsie pop with Gabriel after he already ate all of his. What a sweet little girl I have! Anyway, this weekend turned out great, maybe David should take off more often ;)

Letters

So I've started a new little project to do when I don't feel like doing anything else. I have finally completed my nephew Gabriel's b-day gift. It's pretty simple you just print out the font and size of any name you want, trace it on a one by four slab of wood, saw it out using a scroll saw, sand them down, and then paint them any color you want. I still have Josalynn's to finish. Anway, I am proud that I actually finished something today!

Our long day

Well David is gone today from 4am to 12am. He signed up for a shift tonight and so we are home all day alone. I'm going crazy and I don't feel like cleaning so there seems to be nothing to do. So Josy and I built a fort. I know its a pretty ghetto one but she is only 18 months so it works. After we crawled under and over things over and over again we sat down inside and had snacks while Danny drank his bottle. It seems like forever since I have seen my kids laugh and play like this, I love it. Danny kept trying so hard to crawl along with us but finally just resorted to laying there and giggling at us. Anyway, that is life so far and we still have 7 1/2 hours till David gets home :(. Looks like I'm doing bath and dinner time by myself tonight.... wish me luck!

fussy kids

Well today has been going well so far, as well as it could be. We took a break from our normal schedule the past two days to have a little fun. Well guess what..... big mistake! The kids have been very fussy about absolutely everything. Oh well, I guess it's really not that bad. I couldn't help but post pictures of the kids and what seems to be their constant moods lately, good thing they are still cute.

David is out of school for the rest of the week so it has been great to have him home especially with our wonderfully fussy children! We are planning on going to the pumpkin patch tomorrow since he will be home, hopefully that will go well.
Well I have decided to train for the turkey trot this year, I am going to run 2 miles everyday or jump rope for 30 min if I can't get to running. My goal is to run the whole turkey trot without stopping.
Anyway, the house is still coming along. The roofing is almost done on the wrap around porch so that means that David will soon move to roofing the main roof, yay! I'll be posting as many pictures as I can. My camera broke so I've had to resort to taking only pictures on my phone.
Now as for the vette, David has officially made it a part of the family! We love this car!

Poor Josy

Josalynn has been sick for the past few days and has 2 new teeth coming in to top it off! She absolutely refuses to take any of her naps and has been falling asleep within minutes after starting dinner. This is the second night in a row for this to happen.

Now as for Danny, he is the sweetest, happiest, cutest little guy of all. All he does is smile, laugh, and talk really really loud! What a little stud he is.
Other than all of that there really hasn't been anything new going on. David fixed his corvette and it such a fun car to have! The house is still moving along slowly but surely.

Life for the Browns

Well it's been a while since I was last on here, and I got tired of hearing my sister tell me about how much I need to keep up with my blog (love ya Jess). We have all been so busy lately with remodeling the house, school starting, and of course the kidlets. David started school this past week which also means ROTC is up and running again. Poor guy has been getting up at 5am every other day to go and meet up with his fellow ROTC members to do PT. Then to the showers and to class. Needless to say he gets home totally burnt out and not in the mood to work on the house, but he does anyway! (pics of the house are in the works)

Daniel is growing so fast! He is already at a whopping 14 1/2 lbs.! No need to question who the next weight lifter is going to be in this family! He is my little stud and I couldn't ask for a better little man.

Josalynn is as cute and funny as ever. Her little curls seem to be getting blonder by the day! She amazes me with how much she like to see what I do and then turn around and do it herself. Earlier today she insited on me letting her fasten Daniel's diaper.... what a little mommy. Well the minute I put Daniel in his swing I turned to see Josalynn wiping her teddy bears bum!

Anyway, I am short on time because I am about to head to Branson to spend the evening with my mom.

I have the privilege to have such a wonderful sister! Today just so happens to be Sisters Day so I thought that I would go a head and take the opportunity to let mine know just how much I admire, look up to, and love her! I just so happen to have the best sister that anyone could ever have! She is so kind, considerate, helpful, supportive, and not to mention absolutely and utterly adorable. I truly feel as if heavenly father put us in the same family knowing that I would need somebody to take such good care of me. I can remember the first moment I knew I loved my sister as much as I do, When I was a child growing up in Arizona there was a girl on the school bus who picked on me. I told my sister about what had happened and the very next day she stood up to the girl and I think even threatened to beat her up if she ever picked on me again, I never had a problem after that. What a good sister!

I am so happy to see my sister starting her family along side with me. I love the idea of our children playing and growing together and hopefully becoming best friends. It makes me feel so happy to know that she has such a wonderful husband, son, and baby on the way, to make her heart complete. I am going to end this with letting my sister know that I love her more than anybody could ever know, now that I am almost certain that she is crying as she is reading this because I am just that good. Haha, I love my sister so much and I want to wish her a wonderful sisters day!

Ok so I have to do this fast before the kids wake up! So there was this huge pool party Saturday consisting of the 2 wards in Branson. I took the kids and it was such a blast! I can't believe how much my kids love the water. I had to keep a very close watch on Josalynn because she had no fear and went full force towards the water! Daniel fell asleep instantly and enjoyed being passed around all of the moms.... what a stud. Anyway, when the day finally came to an end we went home and Josalynn slept from 6pm till 9am the next day.. it was awesome!

So the next day as I was getting the kids ready for church I noticed that my poor little girl got a sunburn.... poor thing!

Well I've had fun the past few days. With David being gone and all I am in charge of taking care of everything.... and boy do I mean everything! I went to springfield yesterday to take care of David's tuition assistance at the Armory which so happens to be way on the other side of town! Well come to find out... I can't do a single thing when it comes to his tuition assistance.What a waste of time and energy. And to top of the day, we went to my apartment to get all of the remaining stuff moved to the house. The day before that I went up to springfield with my mom, my nephew Julian, and both the kids to, once again, run more errands. The ride home sure was nice though to actually have all three kids passed out, that doesn't happen very often.

Anyways, enough of that. So Josy has been doing this weird thing lately. She will take off running and then totally biff it right on her face, and I don't know if it is because she is embarrassed or what but she just stays on the floor the exactly the way she fell. It doesn't even matter how much or how loud I say he name it doesn't phase her.
I can't believe how fast life has been passing me by. It feels just like yesterday I was holding my new born little girl and now she is doing all sorts of things that I just can't seem to grasp how. I love my little princess, I just wish that she wouldn't grow up so fast.

My growing family

All right so here is my first post. I'm married to the hunkiest (if thats even a word) man I have ever met. We have been married now for just over 2 years. We have 2 children... Josalynn who is 15 months old and Daniel who is 2 months old. Yup that's right, only 13 months apart! We just recently moved to Seymour, MO into an old home that we are currently remodeling but it has all been put on hold due to David having to leave for Ft. Lewis for field training for the Army for an entire month. So needless to say things have been a little lonely. For the time being I am spending time with my mother and until just recently my sister and her family.

My children are growing so fast I just can't believe it! Josy is in this new phase to where she thinks she can just throw a fit over anything. But she is still such a sweet heart and loves us all very much... especially her little brother Danny.
